Lehigh announces tuition increase for upcoming academic year

Lehigh University’s Board of Trustees recently approved tuition and fee increases for the 2015-16 academic year.

In recognition of the continuing challenging economic climate, the university’s Board has approved the undergraduate tuition increase of 3 percent. This is expected to be among the lowest tuition increases at colleges and universities across the country. Last year’s increase was also 3 percent.

For the 2015-16 academic year, tuition will increase by $1,340, from $44,520 to $45,860. The total cost of attending Lehigh as an undergraduate, including tuition, typical room and board charges, and the undergraduate technology fee, will be approximately $58,510.

The university remains committed to offering students an extraordinary living and learning experience while prudently managing university resources.

Lehigh is also committed to providing financial assistance to students in need. Families receiving or applying for financial aid and families whose circumstances have changed can find information on available programs on the Lehigh Admissions website at www.lehigh.edu/financialaid
